These veneers went in today – the patient had direct restorations that were discolored, breaking down, uneven in appearance, and had spaces in between.
For the longest time since this patient has been coming in, she would comment how she didn’t like her front teeth – and she just wanted a pretty smile. She wasn’t entire convinced though that we could make them any better.
So, a while back I asked the patient to let me take some photos and models of her teeth and set the case up an articulator. I went ahead and waxed up her teeth to show her what they could like, and as soon as she saw the case, and saw that we had an actual plan – she signed up for treatment.
A little planning goes a long way! It gives me the confidence to execute a plan, and it gives my patients the confidence that expectations will be met.
